Hi, my name is Daniel, the founder of Imperius Australis and a nature enthusiast with a lifelong passion for birds, wildlife and the outdoors
Through Imperius Australis, I want to share that passion with people from around the world, helping them discover surprising variety of birds, landscapes, history and traditions that make the Alentejo so special
This is my home, my passion and I'd love to share it with you

Being birders, although we pride ourselves in chasing our goals, we do our best to be mindful of the environment. You can expect a relaxed pace, closer observation and a more tailored experience
We believe nature is best experienced when the main focus is the appreciation of it, and not simply filling out a list. Our tours are designed around small groups, allowing for less disturbance, a making sure everyone's wants are met
